Brent also strives to improve awareness of new multifamily practices through Multifamily Insiders, which brings together all levels of property management professionals and vendors.

Doug is the multifamily industry's leading authority on resident satisfaction research and Resident Relationship Management™, and is frequently published. Prior to starting his own businesses in 1996, starting in the late 1980's Miller was Director of Marketing for several national and regional property management firms including NMHC Top 50 Forest City Residential. Miller received his B.S.B.A from Washington University (St. Louis) and his M.B.A. from The American University.

Jeff Proebstle, VP of Sales for SatisFacts, has been in the sales, sales management and customer service arenas since the early 1990s. Prior to joining SatisFacts, Proebstle held executive-level positions with two major industry service providers, including being Managing Director of MessagePro's national leasing and maintenance call center operation and Director of Sales, Western Region for Apartments.com. Jeff's expertise is in developing tailored feedback programs for clients, with the goal of each program being to provide feedback and guidance needed to help clients achieve their objectives.
Jen Piccotti

Jen Piccotti, VP - Consulting Services for SatisFacts, has over a decade of experience in customer loyalty, quality assurance programs and process efficiency, and has worked in the apartment industry since 2000. She heads up special projects for SatisFacts, including satisfaction survey action planning, productivity studies, quality assurance, process evaluations, and educational services. Jen holds a Master of Science - Quality Assurance degree; in addition, she is chair of the Service Quality Division for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and was MC for their 17th Annual Service Quality Conference.

Kara began her career in Property Management in 1991 and worked her way to the training department of a 30,000-unit publicly held management company where she was responsible for the educational development of over 1,000 employees. In that role, Kara developed, designed and implemented varied curriculum. Since co-founding and joining Grace Hill in early 1999, Kara's role as Chief Information Officer keeps her busy spearheading the development of Grace Hill's computer-based training curriculum as well as the company's marketing efforts.
